Welcome back to all our wonderful volunteers. We hope you had an enjoyable summer.

It is time again to work together to provide our parish’s monthly meal to the homeless men in Hartford through Immacare. Our next meal is Monday, October 5th. We ask that you bring your donations to the parking lot of St. Mary Church between 5:00 and 5:30 PM.

Our October meal consists of baked chicken, rice, and beans, tossed salad with dressing, 6 dozen dinner rolls, 2 gallons of milk, and cupcakes for dessert. The rice and beans are already being provided but if you can help with any of the other items please contact either of us.

In addition, we regret that we have lost the use of the large van we have used in the past to transport the donations. We therefore request that food donations be brought to us in the 10.5×12.5: foil pans that can fit easily into our food carriers. This will optimize our use of space in the SUV that we will be using to transport the donations. Items such as gallons of milk or dinner rolls should be put into bags that are compact and easily to transport. Thank you all so very much for your continued support. Connecticut Foodshare

Connecticut Foodshare is at St. Robert Bellarmine Church every other Friday from 9:00 – 9:30 AM. Please bring your own food bags.
